Atwood Excalibur 8500 IV Series

The folks at Atwood have redesigned the Excalibur 8500 IV Series RV furnaces to provide more quiet and efficient operation. It has a new blower assembly, and has minimal turbulence in the blower housing.

In addition to its compact light weight size, it’s easy to install. Aside from standard installation options, Atwood 8500 series furnaces can also be installed vertically for greater utilization of space.

Standard features include:

  • Input BTU/hr. – 16,000 to 34,000 depending on model.

Atwood Excalibur 8900 III Series

The Excalibur 8900 III RV furnaces are compact in size. It’s a low profile furnace which requires a vertical foot print of 9 1/8” for installation. Like the Excalibur 8500 IV Series, the four models in this line can run on LP gas. And, models 8935ACLC & 8940ACLC can run on natural gas.

Additionally, the Excalibur 8900 III Series offers greater installation flexibility as they offer a bottom discharge outlet, and six different side duct outlets. Also, all main components and controls are easy to access from outside the recreational vehicle so you don’t have to remove the furnace.

Standard features include:

  • Input BTU/hr. 35,000 to 40,000 depending on model chosen.
  • LP gas operation.
  • Natural gas operation for 8935ACLC and 8940ACLC RV furnace models.

Atwood Everest Star 7900 II Series

If you’re searching for quality Atwood RV furnaces with a lower BTU output, then an Everest Star II 7900 Series model may be the perfect fit. Depending on the model, these furnaces are capable of Input BTU/hr. ranges from 12,000 to 18,000.

The Everest Star II 7900 is equipped with a gas valve electric shut-off, electronic ignition, and an increased capacity air blower. Also, this recreational vehicle furnace can produce 12,000, 16,000, and 18,000 BTU’s per hour.

Atwood Excalibur XT RV Furnaces

The Excalibur XT furnace is a 2-stage furnace system, and is the latest addition to the Atwood product line. It’s a fully automatic “set it and forget it” furnace. This new Atwood 2-stage furnace has a variety of built-in self-diagnostics to make maintenance and troubleshooting easier for owners and RV maintenance technicians. Some of the flashing LED diagnostics include: open limit switch, ignition failure, and low voltage input.
